Since June 2023, I have been working as the main team assistant at FAU DCN-AvH, the Chair for Dynamics, Control, Machine Learning and Numerics – Alexander von Humboldt Professorship, and as an administrative assistant at FAU MoD, Research Center for Mathematics of Data, at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Bavaria, Germany.
As the central administrative contact of our dynamic and international team, I coordinate a wide range of administrative and project-related tasks, from financial and personnel matters to research reports, travel arrangements, workshops and events. I like to think of myself as a multi-project manager in disguise, keeping deadlines, documents and people moving in the right direction while trying to make everyday university life a little easier for everyone.
I hold a degree in Modern Languages and an M.A. in World Heritage Studies, with an academic background spanning languages, linguistics, literature, culture and translation. I work in German, English and Spanish and am currently learning French. I bring a Latin spirit to our multicultural group and am always happy to join our trips, although I often can’t. Outside work, I still dream of visiting South Korea one day and of publishing the novel I have been mulling over for more than ten years.
